Job Summary
Assist clients in their assigned area with personal care and daily activities while maintaining a professional, patient, and caring demeanor. Demonstrate sensitivity and empathy for residents with cognitive impairments, communicating effectively with families, colleagues, and the team. Perform physical tasks including bending, pushing, and lifting as needed, ensuring detailed attention to resident needs. Work part-time with every-other-weekend rotation and holiday shifts, requiring reliable transportation and a strong attendance history. Required Qualifications
- High School/GED diploma
- communication skills necessary to work with residents, families, and colleagues as a team member
- sensitivity to, empathy for, and an interest in the elderly and those with cognitive impairments
- physically able to bend, push, lift, stand extensively, and perform assigned responsibilities
- assist with personal care for all residents
- self-motivated and detail oriented
- Professional, Patient, Caring, Energetic with great attendance history
- reliable transportation
- Working every other weekend
- Holiday rotation
