Job Summary
Plan, coordinate and implement engaging, entertaining, and therapeutic activity programs for residents; develop and evaluate recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual activities aligned with each resident's assessment and care plan, including addressing behavioral needs as directed by supervisors; duties include planning daily activities, creating monthly calendars, overseeing the facility Marketplace store, and ensuring regulatory compliance; requires compassion for retirement-age residents, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks, and proficiency with Word, Excel, and Publisher; must be able to respond effectively in emergencies and undergo background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screening; equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience with adults with mental health diagnoses strongly preferred
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and Publisher
- Successful completion of a background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screening
- Ability to follow written and verbal direction in English
