Job Summary
Activities Assistant to plan, coordinate and implement engaging, entertaining, and therapeutic activity programs for residents in a Lakeside healthcare setting. Responsibilities include development and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual programs aligned with resident assessments and care plans; delivering activity services; coordinating outings; assisting with assessments; regulatory compliance; and volunteer management in the absence of a supervisor. Requires a valid driver’s license, proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, strong organization and multitasking, ability to respond to emergencies, initiative, and clear English communication.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Good Driving Record Required)
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Word, and Excel
- Focused attention to detail and the ability to effectively handle multiple items/tasks
- Effective ability to make appropriate judgments and decisions, in a timely manner
- Ability to effectively respond to emergency and/or crisis situations
- Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter
- Demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal direction in English
