Job Summary
Present programs and facilitate classes to meet residents' emotional, intellectual, social, spiritual, and vocational needs while monitoring attendance and well-being. Teach group and individual activities, coordinate events with volunteers, and assist with transportation and vehicle driving as required. Perform function ability assessments, report condition changes immediately, and ensure regulatory compliance. Reduce costs and create efficiencies daily while supporting open communication across the team. Adhere to company standards, maintain proper grooming and uniform, and represent the Art of Living Well philosophy. Work part-time Saturdays and Sundays from 9:30am to 5:30pm at Balfour Senior Living in Louisville, CO.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate
- Valid driver's license and proof of good driving record
- Commercial Driver's License or ability to obtain one within reasonable time of employment
- First Aid Certification
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
Desired Qualifications
- One to two years' experience in Life Enrichment programs (preferably with seniors)
- Background in different dimensions of Art of Living Well is beneficial
- Experience leading exercise classes and assisting with exercise equipment
- Basic competency in the use of multiple forms of technology, including: Microsoft Office applications, internet-based and custom applications
