Job Summary
Design, create, and facilitate six to seven high-quality recreational and educational programs daily for Independent Living and Assisted Living neighborhoods. Lead monthly activity planning by surveying residents, organizing supplies, and coordinating with the program team to schedule events and outings. Manage resident transportation for groceries, leisure activities, and physician appointments, while overseeing volunteer recruitment and program promotion through daily notices. Maintain accurate records, organize programming areas, and attend resident council meetings to ensure high satisfaction levels. Requires a valid driver's license, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Valid driver's license
- Good driving record
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Good physical condition
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, walk, and lift to 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Flexible, consistent, imaginative, engaging and have a passion for working with seniors
- Experience organizing, conducting, and planning programs and activities
