Job Summary
Coordinate and lead resident activities and events across theater, art, music, fitness, education, and recreation within the Memory Care unit. Plan a well-rounded, refined program that enhances the overall resident experience by focusing on socialization, health, wellness, lifelong learning, legacy, and spirituality. Model The Sterling Touch® by maintaining a friendly, courteous, helpful, timely, and professional manner in all interactions to ensure high resident satisfaction. Share ideas on building a wellness-centered program that meets the needs of educated, talented, and sophisticated residents. Work Wednesday through Sunday from 9:00am to 5:30pm under the general guidance of the Director of FACETS®.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to read, write and understand the English language
- Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, crouch, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push, pull and work continuously without sitting for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift or carry up to 20 pounds
- Willingness and ability to participate in the execution of a well-rounded, refined program which meets the needs and expectations of our educated, talented, sophisticated residents
- Willingness and ability to share ideas on how to build a wellness centered program for our residents
- Schedule: Wednesday- Sunday
- Shift: 9:00am-5:30pm
- Unit: Memory Care
Desired Qualifications
- One or more years' experience in planning, coordinating, or leading activities and events
