Job Summary
Provide assistance to assigned residents with activities of daily living, including dining support, personal care, and mobility tasks. Restock supplies, make beds, and perform light housekeeping duties such as dusting and laundry. Document daily resident assistance activities and status in accordance with community policy. Stay with residents during bathroom use and deliver meals or mail to rooms. Maintain a safe working environment while adhering to Resident Bill of Rights and confidentiality laws. Complete mandatory in-service training and background checks.
Required Qualifications
- Complete a specialized training program and successfully complete a Competency Exam.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Complete the background checks.
- Ability to read, understand and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to follow oral and written directions and work independently in the absence of supervision.
Desired Qualifications
- Enrollment in an approved CNA Training Program is encouraged.
