Job Summary
Plan, organize, and direct a program of activities providing opportunities for entertainment, exercise, relaxation, and expression to meet the psychological, social, and spiritual needs of all residents. Fulfill basic needs in accordance with applicable laws and regulations while supporting patient independence and community interaction through facility-sponsored group, individual, and independent activities. Ensure ongoing programs align with comprehensive assessments, care plans, and patient preferences to support physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being. Complete orientation, health screening, TB test, and mandatory drug testing within specified timelines; provide satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility within three days of hire. Minimum of one year experience as an Activities Assistant required.
Required Qualifications
- Sufficient knowledge and experience in long-term care
- Minimum 1 year experience as an Activities Assistant
- Completion of orientation required by company policy
- Health screening and TB test (if required) within two weeks of employment
- Mandatory drug test within 90 days of hire
- Must be free of criminal activity proven by a criminal background check
- Show within three (3) days of hire satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent
- Glendive, MT (Required)
