Job Summary
Life Enrichment Assistant plans and coordinates activity programs for seniors, developing programming that engages residents across physical, social, intellectual, and artistic domains. Responsibilities include recruiting, training, and coordinating volunteers, organizing and hosting events, maintaining activity calendars, coordinating transportation and outings, and driving the 10-passenger bus as needed. The role requires staying current with training through LMS, collaborating with staff, communicating with department supervisors, and ensuring resident engagement and happiness within the community. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, and the ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in creating and coordinating activities for older adults
- Ability to supervise, lead, and motivate people
- Must be able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed/scheduled
- Strong English-language communication ability
