Job Summary
Provide emotional, recreational, and social activities for residents under the guidance of the Director of Activities; assist residents with daily tasks (e.g., writing letters, making phone calls, registering to vote); maintain records of participation and progress; support programs (mail delivery, escorts, newsletters, fundraising, announcements); facilitate crafts, painting, and other self-expression activities to promote engagement and fulfill social, psychological, and spiritual needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience in long-term care or working with the elderly or disabled is desirable
- Must be 18 years or older to apply
