Job Summary
Activities Assistant CNA responsibilities: plan, organize, and implement recreational, social, and therapeutic activities for residents/patients; provide hands-on assistance during activities; encourage participation and social engagement; maintain records of participation and observations; collaborate with nursing, therapy, and social work teams to integrate activity programs into the care plan; adapt activities for diverse needs; assist with supplies and equipment; communicate with residents, families, and team members; participate in ongoing training; adhere to regulations governing activities programming in long-term care facilities. Qualifications include High school diploma or equivalent and current Florida CNA certification; prior activities programming experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Florida
- AHCA background screening
- Experience in activities programming or related field preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Creativity and enthusiasm
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
