Job Summary
Assist the activity director in implementing an activity program to meet each resident's needs and maintain resources for their activities. Facilitate recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance health and daily routines while encouraging participation. Interact and communicate with residents, families, and the healthcare team, and assist with required record keeping. This part-time role includes Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8a to 4:30p at West Ridge Specialty Care in Knoxville, IA. Join a team of compassionate caregivers across 40 skilled nursing communities dedicated to making everyday life fun and fulfilling for residents.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- A strong commitment to helping others and consistently treating them with empathy, respect, patience, and discretion
- An interest in making everyday FUN and fulfilling for our residents
