Activities Assistant

Plan, coordinate, and facilitate stimulating activities programming while creating a strong volunteer program and leading group activities. Communicate regularly with resident families and the entire care team, then prepare and review the monthly newsletter and activities calendar. Visit residents on a one-to-one basis as directed, report and document their progress, and evaluate activity interventions based on the interdisciplinary plan of care. Ensure all documentation meets regulatory standards and maintain appropriate records of resident responses to specific approaches. Requires at least one year of long-term care or assisted living experience, strong communication and computer skills, and the ability to produce engaging programs.
