Job Summary
Lead assigned activity programs by offering diversified recreational options with sufficient supervision for residents. Develop programs tailored to needs, including those for residents confined to rooms, while engaging and motivating participation. Greets new residents to include them in activities and introduce them to peers with similar interests. Assist in informing residents of upcoming events, maintaining current schedules on bulletin boards, and planning parties, decorations, and monthly birthday celebrations. Support census building initiatives and maintain records of activities, participation levels, and acceptance as required by state law. May drive a company vehicle to social and various destinations when required. Work various schedules and shifts, including weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Able to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos
- Able to write simple correspondence
- Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Able to work various schedules and shifts as needed
- Weekends required
