Job Summary
Create engaging, age-appropriate activities for dementia unit residents while balancing daily schedules and multiple residents. Connect with seniors to understand their emotional and social needs, fostering a joyful environment where they feel seen and valued. Collaborate closely with the care team to support residents holistically, demonstrating compassion, accountability, relationships, and excellence. Requires a high school diploma, CNA training, and one to three months of related experience. Part-time day shift available with benefits including medical coverage, PTO, and career growth opportunities through mentorship and tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months' related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Successful completion of a State approved Nursing Assistant training and competency evaluation program
- a CNA competency evaluation program approved by the State
