Activities Assistant (85854)

Plan activities as directed by the supervisor and participate in activities with residents of the community. Maintain department activity logs and documentation while understanding and practicing resident-directed care daily. Communicate effectively with families, physicians, and allied health professionals to advocate for elder-centered care. Work with resident and family councils and direct and supervise volunteers. Assist with dietary services if requested. Lift up to 30 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally, including assisting with resident transfers and handling soiled linens. This role supports the mission to enrich the lives of residents at Westchester Village, a boutique senior living community offering independent living, assisted living, short-term rehab, and long-term care.
