Job Summary
Facilitate and lead group activities for residents, assist with transporting residents to activities, plan and lead recreation programs, and promote facility programs to residents, staff, families and volunteers; requires strong interpersonal skills, experience in health-care activity programs or related field, and a valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- 2+ years of experience in a patient activities program in a health care setting
- College degree in Recreation, Gerontology, Nursing Home Administration, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or Occupational Therapy Assistant or actively pursuing degree in one of these fields with a valid driver’s license
