Job Summary
Plan and organize daily, weekly, and monthly activity schedules to enhance residents' quality of life through social, physical, and cognitive stimulation. Lead and facilitate group activities including games, arts and crafts, music sessions, and exercise programs while adapting to residents' varying mobility and cognitive abilities. Monitor residents during events to ensure safety, build relationships through compassionate interaction, and document attendance and participation levels per facility policies. Assist in setting up activity spaces, cleaning up after events, and coordinating special occasions with volunteers and family members. Provide feedback to the Activities Director regarding resident behavior and mood changes.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in activities coordination, recreation, or working with the elderly in a healthcare or community setting
