ACTIVITIES AIDE

Plan, develop, organize, implement, and evaluate recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs in accordance with resident care plans. Observe resident attendance, behavior, and involvement during activities while encouraging participation as appropriate. Transport residents to and from activities, arrange for outings, and coordinate with other departments and staff. Assist in discharge planning, develop activity care plans, interview residents or family members for activity information, and maintain a quality assurance program. Complete necessary forms and reports. Operate in a healthcare setting with routine contact to residents who have contagious diseases. High School Diploma required; previous experience working with the elderly population preferred. Part-time 11.5 hours.
