Job Summary
Activities Aide to plan, organize, and lead daily activities for residents in a long-term care setting; provide one-on-one interaction, transport residents when necessary, and collaborate with nursing staff to meet residents’ needs. Responsibilities include coordinating games, crafts, music, exercise, community outings, and special events; documenting participation and attendance; and assisting with decorating for holidays/events. Requires active CNA certification; full-time schedule of 40 hours/week with every-other weekend shift in South Paris, Maine.
Required Qualifications
- Active CNA certification required
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in long-term care, assisted living, recreation, or activities preferred, but not required
