Job Summary
Provide compassionate non-medical home care to the elderly and disabled, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, toileting, personal hygiene, and light meal prep; transportation to medical appointments; dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson’s, and hospice care as needed; light housekeeping and organization; and companionship. Must be able to assist with mobility and transfers (up to 100-150lbs), have strong organizational and communication skills, and be able to drive clients in their own vehicle with mileage reimbursement. Certifications such as CNA, HHA, CPR, First Aid, or AED are preferred but not required. Flexible schedule with both full-time and part-time opportunities, with weekly payments and benefits available.
Required Qualifications
- Dementia Care Experience
- Ability to assist with mobility, transfers and physical support (up to 100-150lbs)
- Current enrollment in, or graduation from, a 4-year college or university
- Certifications that are preferred but NOT required: CNA, HHA, CPR, First Aid, AED
