Active Living Assistant (Part-Time)

Job Summary
Assist the Active Living Manager in core programs to engage residents socially, educationally, and culturally while supporting staff and volunteers in delivering holistic wellness initiatives. Provide car driving services on a regular scheduled basis and cultivate a respectful, warm environment for residents and staff. Contribute ideas and best practices for entertainment programming that reflects resident interests. Schedule is part-time (20-30 hours); requires a Class 4 Unrestricted License with 3 years' experience and 1 year of senior recreation work. Required Qualifications
- Class 4 Unrestricted License
- minimum of 3 years' driving experience
- minimum of 1-year experience in working with seniors in recreation function
- problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing work environment
- effective communicator capable of fostering strong interpersonal relationships with residents, their families, and employees
- committed to continuous learning and development, and fostering the growth of your people
- Criminal Record Check
- TB test within the first month of employment
