Job Summary
Senior AVP lead responsible for driving high-speed interconnect product development across active electrical cables, active copper cables, and smart cable modules, including ownership of technology roadmaps and execution from concept through qualification to launch. Leads cross-functional teams across mechanical, testing, hardware, and firmware engineering;defines and manages technology strategy aligned with customer and market needs;oversees full product lifecycles;collaborates with signal integrity, NPI, QA, validation, and manufacturing;builds and leads a high-performing team with expertise in schematic/layout design, high-speed interconnect design, firmware/software development, and compliance; makes technical and business decisions to align product development with company strategy and manufacturing realities; requires proven leadership in cable manufacturing, with experience in overseas contract manufacturers; preferred advanced degree (Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field) and Mandarin proficiency; emphasizes collaboration with product, operations, manufacturing, and customer-facing teams; success metrics include differentiated technology roadmap, efficient development programs, and reliable, high-performance product launches.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience leading engineering development for high-speed interconnect products, including significant experience with cable manufacturing.
- Strong background in R&D, product development, and technology strategy.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of product quality, reliability, manufacturability, and validation processes.
- Ability to make both technical and business decisions.
- Experience with overseas (Asia) contract manufacturers
