Job Summary
ACTIVE DIRECTORY SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR to support CIO Infrastructure Services with responsibility to sustain and secure enterprise Active Directory services across multinetwork environments. Administer forests, domains, trust relationships, replication, and enterprise directory components; manage authentication, Kerberos/NTLM, DNS-integrated AD functions, and group membership; create and troubleshoot GPOs; provide Tier 2/3 directory service support; deploy domain controllers, perform schema extensions, and manage lifecycle upgrades; monitor AD health, replication, logs, and performance; maintain documentation and operational procedures; collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams; execute patching and compliance tasks for AD and related systems; ensure security and identity-driven capabilities across critical mission systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field or 4 years of relevant IT experience in lieu of a degree
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field or 6 years of relevant IT experience in lieu of a degree
- CERTIFICATION: DoD 8140 Information Assurance Workforce requirements (e.g. Security+ CE)
- CLEARANCE: Active TS/SCI clearance with a favorable polygraph
- Hands-on experience administering AD, Group Policy, DNS, and authentication services
- Strong knowledge of AD health monitoring, replication, domain controller management, OU structure design, and secure configuration practices
- Experience troubleshooting complex authentication, GPO, DNS, and directory integrated application issues
- Familiarity with STIGs, patching workflows, vulnerability remediation, and configuration compliance requirements
- Strong documentation, communication, and cross team collaboration skills
- US citizenship required
