Job Summary
Administer Active Directory objects, including users, groups, and computers, while configuring and maintaining domains and trusts. Manage Group Policy creation and troubleshooting, and oversee Active Directory Sites and Services changes. Troubleshoot DC replication issues and monitor system health. Configure and manage print servers, NTP servers, and the Active Directory Certification Authority. Resolve file permission issues in collaboration with other teams. Requires strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of authentication mechanisms like LDAP, NTLM, and Kerberos. Available in Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane.
Required Qualifications
- strong troubleshooting/problem solving skills
- understanding of all AD services, fundamentals and related dependent services
- Administration of Active Directory Objects, including but not limited to Users, Groups and Computers
- Understanding of authentication mechanisms (e.g. LDAP/NTLM/Kerberos)
- Configuring/maintaining Domains and Trusts
- Group Policy creation/management/troubleshooting
- Deep understanding and experience with Active Directory Sites and Services (ADSS), including how to make changes/deletions/modifications
- Understanding of DC replication and how to proactively monitor/troubleshoot
- Print server configuration and management
- NTP server configuration and management
- Experience with Active Directory Certification Authority
- Ability to work with other teams to resolve issues related to file permissions
