Job Summary

Coordinate calendars, meetings, and travel for the WMD Defeat Department while managing scheduling and tasking with the Front Office. Track, analyze, and execute all actions in the Task Management Tool, distribute department action items, and maintain awareness of due-outs for military evaluations and awards. Compile data into reports and presentations for senior leaders, screen correspondence, and finalize travel arrangements and expense reimbursements through the Defense Travel System. Draft and proof civilian award documentation, manage classified distribution lists, and interface with internal and external support services. Maintain Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility for this role at Fort Belvoir, VA.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Possess Top Secret security clearance and be eligible for immediate SCI nomination and indoctrination
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of professional Government-agency, military, or corporate experience providing action officer support
  • Experience working in a time-sensitive environment with a high-level of accountability
  • Experience with platforms such as the DTS, DAI civilian timecard system, and SharePoint
  • Demonstrated experience in the ability and skills to manage multiple projects, keep track of, or adjust existing tasks while identifying new tasks and expectations as projects evolve
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills geared towards executives
  • Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise, and articulate correspondence with a focus on quality control and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills that foster teamwork and create positive relationships with staff and principals
  • Working knowledge of coordination requirements for the successful preparation and approval of reports, briefings, memoranda, and presentations
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, plan, problem solve and adapt in a fast-paced and strategic environment under minimal supervision
  • Familiarity with task management platforms, such as ETMS2, TMT, or CATMS
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications (e.g., TEAMS, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project)
  • Must be available for weekend shifts
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
