Acting Maintenance Aide

Under the Maintenance Supervisor, conduct routine cleaning and sanitizing of lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, restrooms, and laundry rooms. Perform comprehensive floor care including sweeping, mopping, and buffing while disinfecting elevator buttons and handrails. Empty trash receptacles, replace bulbs, tighten fixtures, and report leaks or broken doors to management. Respond to cleaning requests, spills, and hazards by maintaining clear walkways and following OSHA protocols. Mix cleaning agents safely and document maintenance issues immediately. Assist with grounds cleanup, moving heavy supplies, and emergency special cleaning needs as required.
