Job Summary
Acting Instructor for Education Unlimited's two summer acting camps in California (UCLA session in Los Angeles and Stanford session). Instructors teach acting, public speaking, and ensemble work through immersive, conservatory-style programs for high school and middle school students (one- or two-week sessions; housing and meals provided; residential duties include assisting the camp director, supervising field trips, and mentoring students). Qualifications include professional acting/directing credentials and 3+ years of teaching experience; a Bachelor's degree is required and an MFA is highly desirable. Strong foundation in Stanislavski-based realism with additional skills in musical theater, comedy, movement, voice, improvisation, on-camera acting, or verse drama are welcomed.
