ACT Therapist

Conduct comprehensive individual, family, and group therapy sessions while assessing client risk for suicidal or homicidal ideation. Perform timely documentation of assessments and treatment plans in the EMR, maintain confidentiality of all records, and complete billing documentation accurately. Provide crisis intervention as needed, present cases to psychiatrists regarding medication needs, and collaborate with internal staff and external specialists to coordinate services. Act as a client advocate to resolve emergency problems and assist family members in supporting clients. Participate in departmental meetings and maintain current knowledge of counseling developments. This full-time, salaried role includes Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm hours with competitive medical, dental, and vision premiums, state retirement participation, and licensure reimbursement.
