Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team, providing community-based psychiatric nursing services to individuals with serious mental illness. Responsibilities include administering medications, conducting health assessments, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, assisting with crisis intervention, and educating clients and families on health management. Candidates must have an active RN license in New Mexico and ideally possess behavioral health nursing experience.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico
- Behavioral health or psychiatric nursing experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a psychiatric nurse provider
- Experience in telemedicine
Additional Requirements
- No suspension/exclusion/debarment from participation in federal health care programs
- Must successfully pass CYFD Criminal Background Checks
- Must become certified by Crisis Intervention Prevention (CPI)
