Job Summary
ACT Peer Support Specialist provides direct treatment, rehabilitative and supportive services within an ACT clinical team to clients in a community setting, acts as client advocate and liaison with families/community agencies, serves as lead client advocate/mentor, and supports service planning using recovery-oriented approaches. Requires flexible schedule to cover 7 days/week including weekends/holidays; education/certification as described; experience in behavioral health and proficiency with EMR systems; bilingual ability (Spanish) is a plus. Required Qualifications
- GED/High school diploma with minimum 3 years of behavioral health experience, or an associate's degree in the field of behavioral health, or a bachelor's degree (not in the field of behavioral health) and 1 year of behavioral health experience, or a bachelor's degree in the field of behavioral health, or a master's degree or higher in the field of behavioral health.
- Peer Support Certification (Required)
- Must have valid Arizona driver’s license, be 21 years of age with minimum 4 years driving experience and meet requirements of Terros Health’s driving policy.
- Must have a valid, unrestricted Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card or apply for one within 7 working days of employment.
