Job Summary
ACT Mental Health Professional responsible for delivering individualized and group psychotherapy to adults in community-based settings. Develop and implement Individual Treatment Plans addressing symptom management, housing, health and wellness, budgeting, transportation, and benefits. Provide empirically-supported therapies (CBT for psychosis, behavioral activation, DBT, ACT, motivational interviewing) and collaborate with family and significant others. Ensure continuity of care through timely communication and documentation, participate in 24-hour on-call rotation and regular team meetings. Requires Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field and eligibility for Minnesota licensure; licensed professionals preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or human services related field
- two years of experience in related positions; at least one year includes experience in community based mental health with adults recovering from mental illness or combination of equivalent experience and training
- Licensed as a mental health professional in the State of Minnesota preferred or eligible for licensure with licensure obtained within 24 months
