Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments for assigned individuals, including writing detailed reports and providing evidence-based therapy such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Dialectic Behavior Therapy. Deliver 80% of available time in individual and group treatment while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, courts, and probation offices to coordinate case reviews and discharge planning. Establish community networks, maintain resource files, and ensure compliance with state and county behavioral health standards. Participate in daily team meetings, weekly on-call rotations, and evening/weekend shifts to provide 24/7 access to services for high-severity clients.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in generally recognized clinical discipline including, but not limited to, Psychiatry, Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, Rehabilitation, Counseling, or Activity Therapies
- At least two (2) years of experience in clinical assessment and therapeutic work
- Valid driver's license
- Auto insurance
- Use of a vehicle for work and on-call
- Ability to work in a team environment and share office space
- Ability to work evenings and weekends in meeting responsibilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well with people
- Good, creative problem solving skills
- Excellent clinical skills including assessment, individual and group therapy
- Knowledge of behavioral health and criminal justice systems
- Community resources
- Computers skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexible and adaptive in handling changing priorities in a fast paced work environment
- Ability to work extended hours as may be required to complete projects
- Expertise in various therapeutic treatment modalities
- Expertise in Criminal Justice
- Expertise in substance abuse
- Expertise in geriatric issues
