Job Summary
Six-week paid internship for high school students rotating through ACS departments, offering mentorship and exposure to apprenticeship programs. Interns will observe and participate in project management, payroll support, compliance verification, operations, workforce development, and administrative functions, complete projects supporting ACS initiatives, and attend professional development sessions. The program emphasizes developing workplace professionalism, communication, teamwork skills, and awareness of workforce development and business strategy.
Required Qualifications
- Familiarity with office software applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or equivalent
- May require excellent technical knowledge of network, PC Hardware, and software
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Excellent public speaking skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in performing tasks
- Ability to work well within a diverse population as well as autonomously
- Ability to contribute positively to team dynamics and outcomes
- Ability to handle sensitive information
- Ability to exhibit professionalism in conduct, integrity, punctuality, and adherence to workplace expectations and policies
