Job Summary
ACs EU Sales Engineer role focused on identifying opportunities, engaging directly with customers (owners, general contractors, design institutes), and developing costed, regulatory-compliant HVAC/energy-solution proposals to drive revenue growth. Responsibilities include market intelligence, opportunity pursuit aligned with company growth strategy, maintaining a project pipeline in the sales management system, collaborating with technical teams to design and present customized HVAC solutions, building strong client relationships to ensure project opportunities and satisfaction, coordinating with engineering, manufacturing, and other departments to ensure project delivery, supervising contract terms and collections, and adhering to sales governance and compliance. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree or higher in HVAC, EE/ME or related engineering disciplines, 3+ years in industrial product/solution sales, deep technical understanding of products, strong consultative selling skills, customer-centric mindset, cross-functional collaboration, exceptional communication, analytical/problem-solving abilities, project management capabilities, and financial acumen for AR/receivables. The role emphasizes turning technical solutions into business value for customers while supporting a sustainable future with Trane Technologies.
