Job Summary
This in-office role procures and connects clients with a broad range of Bank of America financial solutions. Responsibilities include balancing service requests with sales opportunities, building and deepening client relationships by uncovering financial needs, asking probing questions, and pairing solutions to meet those needs. The banker sells and fulfills banking products (checking/savings, CDs, IRAs, loans) and may identify needs for licensed sales functions, referring to Line of Business partners; quotes rates, terms, and programs; and manages risk in every transaction. The candidate should be able to engage clients, build rapport, handle objections, and adapt to ongoing change, with emphasis on Spanish-speaking client interactions and a commitment to teamwork and delivering an excellent client experience. Minimum education is a high school level, and the schedule requires flexibility including weekends and holidays; prior experience in banking, customer service, or call-center environments is valued. The role emphasizes clear communication, problem-solving, and the ability to provide customized financial solutions using plain language.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of an intermediate level of proficiency with computers
- Bilingual Spanish required
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED or Secondary School or equivalent
- Ability to work schedule including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Experience in customer service or call center environments
- Experience in sales, especially licensed sales functions or cross-selling banking products
- Attention to detail and proficiency with banking products (checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, loans)
- Ability to handle customer inquiries and provide customized financial solutions
- Comfort with learning new technology/processes
- Self-motivated and organized
- Experience with providing proactive customer service and managing risk
