Job Summary
Read blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders to cut, route, saw, drill, bend, polish, bond, and assemble acrylic components according to engineering specifications. Inspect parts throughout fabrication for quality and dimensional accuracy, then assist with packaging finished products for shipment. Maintain a clean, organized work area following 5S and safety standards while communicating production schedules and reporting material defects or equipment issues. This role is based in Plymouth, MN, with an hourly range of $19.00 - $21.00. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Required Qualifications
- Work Authorization: To be considered for Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
- Previous fabrication, manufacturing, woodworking, plastics, or acrylic fabrication experience preferred.
- Ability to read measuring tools and blueprints accurately.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with acrylic or other plastics.
- Knowledge of adhesives, polishing, and finishing techniques.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
