Job Summary
Acquisition Specialist with an active TS/SCI clearance onsite in Dahlgren, VA. Lead the Government client in requirements review, acquisition strategy development, and RFP development; prepare solicitations, acquisition and source selection plans; develop requirements documents (e.g., PWS, evaluation factors, performance plans); prepare contract modifications; respond to FOIA and protest actions; serve as SME for all acquisition matters throughout the full life cycle. Ideal candidate has 8+ years of federal contracting experience (DoD preferred), DAWIA or FAC-C III, strong communication and analytical skills, and proficiency with MS Office; bachelor’s degree in business or related field; and is able to work onsite with contingency upon contract award.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum clearance at TS/SCI level
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor�s degree in business or related major
- Proficiency in the use of standard office software and applications (MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
- Strong analytical and statistical skills.
- 8+ years of federal contracting experience, preferably at the DoD.
- DAWIA (Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act) or FAC-C (Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting) level III certified.
- Extensive experience on complex, large efforts ($100M+).
