Acquisition Program Analyst, SME (Operational Airlift/Executive Airlift)

Job Summary
Acquisition Program Analyst, SME supporting HAF budget preparation, defense oversight, and program execution for a broad portfolio of mobility and special mission aircraft programs. Responsibilities include analyzing planning, scheduling, and management data; studying requirements and acquisition strategies; providing recommendations on program direction, milestones, and funding allocations; preparing PPBE documentation; and supporting reviews with AF leadership and external bodies (AFROC, JWCA, DAB, ASP, AFRB, CSB, GAO). Requires active TS-SCI clearance, a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline, and 10+ years of defense acquisition experience, including HQ staff exposure and 5+ years supporting OSA/EA programs. Strong understanding of related Air Force organizations (AMC, CVAM, etc.), and ability to produce briefings and training material; telework-eligible with in-person meetings ~4 days/week, potential for 100% onsite in the future.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS-SCI Clearance
- Masters’ degree in a Business, Finance or Engineering discipline
- Over 10 years of defense acquisition experience with at least 1 year in a HQ staff position
- At least 5 years supporting OSA/EA programs, or experience relevant to OSA/EA programs including operational experience with OSA/EA-related platforms and Senior Leader Communication programs
- A firm understanding of the various organizations involved in OSA/EA (Air Mobility Command (AMC), Special Air Missions Division (CVAM), etc.)
