Job Summary
Senior Acquisition & Performance Marketing Manager responsible for day-to-day trading across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta, YouTube, LinkedIn and programmatic, owning the experimentation roadmap (A/B, multivariate, incrementality), and tying measurement to AI-enabled levers. You will activate first-party data with the CRM specialist, manage budgets, and report performance to executive leadership. The role includes maturing the in-house trading function within a hybrid agency model, using AI tools (including Claude) for analysis, creative ideation, audience and query mining, scripting and reporting. Base locations are Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane with a hybrid in-office arrangement; reports to Head of Brand & Campaigns and Chief Customer Officer, and collaborates with Head of Digital and a tier-one agency partner.
Required Qualifications
- 7 to 10 years in paid media
- hands-on mastery of Google Ads (PMax, AI Max, Demand Gen)
- experience trading at scale
- proficiency with Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads, YouTube, LinkedIn
- working knowledge of programmatic (DV360-style)
- familiarity with GA4, GTM, Enhanced Conversions, server-side tracking, Conversions API
- CRM data activation and first-party data strategies
- AI tools usage in trading and reporting (e.g., Claude)
- ability to build and lead an in-house trading capability
