Job Summary

Manage a critical Army test equipment modernization program by implementing performance-based metrics and creating organic maintenance support strategies for commercial off-the-shelf products. Review, evaluate, and approve logistical documents detailing electronic maintenance tasks, component Level of Repair Analysis, and Army technical manuals. Create and maintain documentation supporting Type Classification decisions while providing comprehensive oral briefings to management and stakeholders. Embed troubleshooting, repair, and lifecycle maintenance of tactical radio systems and night vision goggles into test equipment modernization efforts. Coordinate supply chain logistics for electronic components, manage inventory levels, and develop strategies to mitigate part shortages or obsolescence. Requires five to ten years of Army acquisition experience with a Secret Security Clearance.

Required Qualifications

  • Five to ten years of Army acquisition experience
  • Specialized knowledge in communication and electronic repair shops or Army calibration facilities
  • Deep understanding of the Army acquisition process as it pertains to the integrated logistics elements for an Acquisition Category (ACAT) Level III program
  • A minimum of five years of documented experience managing Army electronic repair programs, communication shops, or calibration facilities
  • Strong working knowledge of the Army acquisition process, specifically regarding integrated logistics elements for ACAT III programs
  • In-depth knowledge of Army radio systems, night vision goggles (NVGs), and COTS test equipment
  • Extensive experience working with and managing TMDE operations and organic maintenance strategies
  • Secret Security Clearance Level
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field

Desired Qualifications

  • Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Certification in Life Cycle Logistics
  • Prior military service in a relevant MOS (e.g., Signal or Ordnance Corps) with direct leadership over electronic maintenance or calibration facilities
