Job Summary
Acquisition Consultant with an active TS/SCI clearance located onsite near Melbourne, FL. Lead a government client through strategic requirements review, acquisition strategy development, and RFP development; review requirements documents for adequacy; prepare solicitations, acquisition and source selection plans, and other regulatory documents; draft requirements documents (PWS, evaluation factors, performance plans); prepare contract modifications; respond to FOIA and protest actions; serve as the SME for all acquisition matters. Requires minimum TS/SCI clearance, bachelor’s degree in business or related field, working knowledge of FAR and supplements, WAWF experience, strong MS Office skills, 8+ years federal contracting experience (DoD preferred), DAWIA/FAC-C III certification, and a proven track record with large-scale programs ($100M+). Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree in business or related major
- Working knowledge of the FAR and supplements
- Experience with WAWF (Wide Area Workflow)
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- 8+ years federal contracting experience (DoD preferred)
- DAWIA or FAC-C Level III certification
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to develop acquisition documents (PWS, technical evaluation factors, performance plans)
- Experience in preparing solicitations, acquisition plans, source selection plans
- Experience handling FOIA requests and protest actions
- Extensive experience on complex, large efforts ($100M+)
- Active role as a government-contracting SME
