Job Summary

Conduct comprehensive programmatic and acquisition analysis across the entire lifecycle for major weapon systems and services. Provide agency-wide expert advice to senior executives on acquisition strategy, risk management, and contracting operations. Direct core acquisition functions, including program baseline support and workflow optimizations, while serving as the official Acquisition Strategy Panel secretariat. Author and present complex briefing materials, manage executive action trackers, and coordinate engagements with defense industry partners. Maintain the definitive master library of source-selection-sensitive data and deliver weekly status reports. Perform advanced analytical tasks to enable data-driven decision-making for the Missile Defense Agency at Redstone Arsenal, AL.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, or a closely related field
  • Must possess and maintain an Active Secret Clearance
  • Minimum of 15 years of direct experience supporting Major Defense Acquisition Programs (ACAT I/II) as a Program Manager (PM) or Deputy Program Manager (DPM)
  • Proven track record of senior-level oversight managing program cost, schedule, and performance across complex lifecycles
  • Direct experience authoring and coordinating comprehensive milestone decision packages, or equivalent documentation for a Milestone Decision Authority (MDA)
  • Demonstrated success preparing and defending overarching acquisition strategies tailored for formal reviews before the Acquisition Strategy Panel (ASP) and Acquisition Strategy Board (ASB)
  • Hands-on proficiency reviewing, processing, and refining core defense strategy products and documentation
  • Work Location: This position is performed on-site at Redstone Arsenal, AL
  • Regular on-site attendance is required to support customer and contract requirements

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous DAWIA Certification Level III in Program Management or equivalent
