Job Summary
Acoustics Team Leader to shape and deliver acoustics capability across major UK infrastructure programmes. Lead the delivery and technical assurance of noise and vibration assessments for large-scale projects, provide high-level acoustics advice to clients, mentor an acoustics team, and integrate acoustics into design and environmental strategy. Role encompasses leadership, technical direction, development of mitigation solutions, and collaboration with planners, engineers, environmental specialists, contractors and developers to support successful project outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Acoustics or a related discipline
- Significant experience in environmental acoustics, including major infrastructure projects
- Proven track record delivering EIA and consenting support (DCO / planning)
- Experience working on linear infrastructure (rail, highways, energy corridors)
- Strong understanding of UK noise and vibration standards and guidance
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary inputs and manage technical delivery
