Job Summary
Overall management responsibility for operation of retail grocery store during absence of the Store Director, including supervision of 100+ employees, cash control, inventory, security, customer service, scheduling, payroll, and adherence to company policies. Responsible for forecasting sales goals, coordinating labor, coaching staff, merchandise presentation, and ensuring sanitation, safety, and compliance. Demonstrates leadership to achieve store performance goals and maintain favorable customer experiences.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
- Strong customer service and supervisory skills
- Solid understanding of overall store operations
- Proven ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills
- Experience managing a multi-department operation within retail or service industry
