Job Summary
Sourcing new food suppliers and products across ten European countries to meet evolving menu concepts, while identifying and managing supplier risks. Negotiate prices and terms with industrial partners, launch regular tenders, and renegotiate framework contracts based on performance and market shifts. Manage procurement projects, track costs and budgets, and resolve contractual disputes. Collaborate with supply chain, quality, product, and operations teams to ensure compliance and service delivery. Requires a Master's degree in purchasing or business/engineering with five years of experience in grocery or food distribution. Salary range 45-50k€; 12-month fixed-term contract starting immediately.
Required Qualifications
- Master in purchasing, business school, or engineering school (agroalimentaire)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the purchasing function in the retail sector, off-premise catering, or collective catering, or the agroalimentaire sector
- Good understanding of the functioning of a food supply chain or non-food supply chain
- Excellent negotiation sense
- Analysis and synthesis capabilities
- Rigorous, organized, good communicator, and team spirit
- Good mastery of Excel
- Mastery of English is indispensable
