Job Summary
Provide high-quality outpatient and inpatient care to Adult Congenital Heart Disease patients while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans. Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, manage urgent and emergent cases, and supervise trainees through teaching rounds, lectures, and conference participation. Contribute to divisional research initiatives and engage in statewide and nationwide ACHD advocacy efforts. Perform after-hours or night call responsibilities as needed to support the largest ACHD program in Arizona.
Required Qualifications
- M.D. or equivalent degree
- Board certified/eligible in Pediatric Cardiology by the American Board of Pediatrics
- Board certified/eligible in Adult Congenital Heart Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine
- Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Arizona
- The ability to communicate by telephone, computer or other communication devices
- The ability to perform after hours or night call responsibilities as needed
- The ability to work regularly scheduled work hours
