ACHD Cardiologist

Job Summary
Provide high-quality outpatient and inpatient care to Adult Congenital Heart Disease patients, including subspecialty consultations, follow-ups, and diagnostic/therapeutic procedures. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans while engaging in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. Contribute to research initiatives and participate in statewide and nationwide ACHD advocacy efforts. Support the medical education programs of the division through teaching rounds, lectures, and supervision of trainees. Represent the institution in the medical and business communities and fulfill after-hours or night call responsibilities as needed.
Required Qualifications
- M.D. or equivalent degree
- Board certified/eligible in Pediatric Cardiology by the American Board of Pediatrics
- Board certified/eligible in Adult Congenital Heart Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine
- Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Arizona
- The ability to communicate by telephone, computer or other communication devices
- The ability to perform after hours or night call responsibilities as needed
- The ability to work regularly scheduled work hours
