Job Summary
Provide high-quality outpatient and inpatient care to Adult Congenital Heart Disease patients, including subspecialty consultations, follow-up, and urgent/emergent procedures. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans while contributing to research initiatives and statewide advocacy efforts. Teach medical students, residents, and fellows through direct supervision, teaching rounds, and lectures. Support the division's annual goals, patient safety standards, and programmatic growth alongside Heart Center teams at Phoenix Children's and Dignity-St. Joseph's Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- M.D. or equivalent degree
- Board certified/eligible in Pediatric Cardiology by the American Board of Pediatrics
- Board certified/eligible in Adult Congenital Heart Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine
- Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Arizona
- The ability to communicate by telephone, computer or other communication devices
- The ability to perform after hours or night call responsibilities as needed
- The ability to work regularly scheduled work hours
