ACHD Cardiologist

Job Summary
ACHD Cardiologist opportunity at Phoenix Children's. Provide high-quality inpatient and outpatient care to ACHD patients, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans, engage in teaching medical students, residents, pediatric cardiology and adult cardiovascular disease fellows, contribute to research initiatives, and participate in statewide and nationwide ACHD advocacy efforts. The program is part of Phoenix Children's Center for Heart Care, noted as the largest ACHD program in Arizona with extensive multidisciplinary support and outreach across the Phoenix metropolitan area. The successful candidate will work with Heart Center teams at Phoenix Children's and the affiliated adult partner hospital. Qualifications include MD/DO, board eligibility/certification in Pediatric Cardiology and ACHD, and Arizona licensure eligibility. Affiliated academic appointment with University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix; commitment to education, research, and advocacy welcomed.
Required Qualifications
- M.D. or equivalent degree
- Board certified/eligible in Pediatric Cardiology by the American Board of Pediatrics
- Board certified/eligible in Adult Congenital Heart Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine
- Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Arizona
